More than 500 years ago, European traders would travel to the island of Java in Indonesia and the port of al-Mahka (Mokha or Mocha) in Yemen in search of coffee beans. Over time, the two beans were blended together and became the world’s first-known coffee blend.
We roast our Mokha Java beans to a medium-dark level which boast hints of delicate fruit and earthy chocolate. Mokha Java is packaged in a shiny copper bag which is great for gift-giving.
